Now «Centers of indomitability» are places that can unite Ukrainians in the most difficult situations. A few days ago they have been joined by «Indestructible Yurt» from Kazakhstan, six of which are planned and two of them have already been opened. The sponsors of this project are the Kazakh businessmen and the same diaspora structures. However, those yurts became not only a symbol of support for the Ukrainian people, but they are the «red rags» for Russia, which demanded an explanation from Astana.
Earlier, the Ukraine Secretary of the National Security Council Danylov said the Kremlin may turn Kazakhstan as the next victim of Russian aggression.
Currently one of «Indestructible Yurts» has been opened in Ukrainian capital Kyiv. It is located in the Shevchenko Park, and this location is symbolic for two reasons. First it was placed there one of the Russian rockets hit Kyiv on October 10, the day when the whole of Ukraine suffered from a massive attack. Another rocket rammed the territory near the park on Shevchenko Boulevard. Shevchenko Park is named for the honor after the poet, whose biography is closely connected with Kazakhstan, where he was exiled as a recruit. It was the time and place where he wrote a large number of paintings, poems, and even he met his love there.
At the same park there is a willow planted from Kazakhstan. This is explained by the fact that Kazakhs consider Shevchenko to be their poet, which is why this country has the largest number of monuments to the Ukrainian author outside of Ukraine. Kazakhstan volunteers said that a Yurt for their people has the same meaning as a vyshyvanka for Ukrainians, so such actions can be considered a combination of two cultures in difficult times for Ukraine.
Another « Indestructible Yurt» has been opened in Bucha, and the next ones will be constructed in Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Lviv and Odesa.
In addition to culture, this is also a symbol of whose side Kazakhstan is on, and this hint was perfectly understood in Russia and reacted sharply to it. Kazakh diplomats took the participation participated in the opening of such points. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokeswoman Maria Zakharova reported that such a move came under the close attention of Moscow. She said that the Kremlin does not suspect the Kazakh authorities of helping the Ukrainians, but it demands on an official comment from Astana.
A comment was received, but it is ambiguous. Because it says that the authorities did not know about such steps, and they were carried out by Kazakh companies, which independently decide to do this way. However, Astana does not see any problems about setting up such Yurts and it`s proud that they are now standing in Ukraine.
Now Kazakhstan is considered an ally of Russia, and it did not condemn the aggressive attack on Ukraine/ But the authorities of this country have clearly expressed their support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine several times. They also did not recognize Luhansk Peoples Republic and Donetsk Peoples Republic as well as the referendums that were held there, and as well as in the south of Ukraine in 2022.
Kazakhs understands that they will be the next victims of Russian aggression, as evidenced by Putin’s numerous statements». And it will be some narratives looks like: the territory of Kazakhstan is a gift from Russia; Kazakhs never had their statehood.
The population of the «Yurt region» is aware of which country will be the next victim of the Russian Federation aggression in the case of Ukraine loses, so they clearly support the Ukrainians in their struggle.
