It is known that this competition leads to the fact that the surge in different options of substitutes for brain activity is predicted in a few years, not decades, as it was recently.
Google sounded a real alarm with the creation of the ChatGPT chatbot. The level of fear can already be understood because of what it is called in the society of specialists – “search engine killer”. This is explained by the fact that its functionality and performance far exceed the capabilities of the Google search engine.

It is more convenient to work with such a bot than with a classic search engine because there is no need to open and process several links.

Concern at Google is so high that a so-called “code red” has been announced. This phrase in the language of professionals means that in order to maintain competitiveness, it is urgently necessary to develop 20 products that are based on the basis of artificial intelligence and will be able to surpass competitors.
Some of the developments are currently kept secret, and some details are already known. For example, information about the creation of a new Apprentice Bard chatbot, which operates on the basis of the conversational neural language model LaMDA has leaked. In fact, it is very similar to its competitor ChatGPT, but with some improvements. Yes, a Google product can include information about recent events in its answers. This is not available for the ChatGPT chat, because it only deals with what happened after 2021.
Also, Google is reforming a new search page with five potential questions in the search bar instead of the “I’m Feeling Lucky” block.
So far, the company has not officially presented its developments, since the new products are only being tested. It is expected that other companies producing similar products will start developing in the same direction in the future.
