The President of Ukraine unexpectedly appeared in Europe. The visits were not advertised for security reasons. But the meetings held at the end of last week are of great importance. With whom and about which issues the conversations were held, read in the article.
German hospitality
A meeting with Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz took place in Germany. During the official part, two main statements were made:
1. Starting from February 24, 2022,Germany provided aid for 17 billion EUR.
2. The country’s authorities support Ukraine’s accession to NATO.
At the same time, Zelenskyy was awarded the Charlemagne Prize. This was done by the head of the European Commission, Ursula von Der Leyen.
Dinner in France
The next point of the trip of the President of Ukraine is Paris. He will discuss with the President of France following:
– military support;
– assistance in humanitarian needs;
– prospects of the Peace Plan proposed by Kyiv to restore peace in Europe.
What is discussed without unnecessary witnesses
Recently, more and more information has appeared that Western countries are putting pressure on Kyiv so that the government of Ukraine sits down at the negotiating table with Russia. There is considerable pressure, and it is increasingly difficult to resist it. To avoid such a situation, it is necessary to prepare agreements with each European leader separately, and not at official meetings or international events.
The urgent formation of a coalition of fighter aircraft would allow to change the situation. Now it can be called the most urgent issue. Precisely in order to “break through” this direction, Zelenskyy independently went to meetings with high-ranking officials of Germany and France.
