The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced new features in the Reserv+ app for updating the data of conscripts. Among them are new QR code scanning capabilities within the app, the ability to correct errors remotely, and more.
In particular, the following features have been introduced:
Electronic Military ID:
- Now available in the app and has the same legal force as the paper version.
- Authorized bodies can scan the QR code to verify the validity of the document and obtain the necessary information.
Remote Error Correction:
- The ability to correct data online is available for two situations:
- “I am a serviceman, but still on record”: for those whose current status was not reflected in the Obereg registry.
- “Data not found”: for all who received such a notification in the Reserv+ app.
How the military registration document works via QR code:
From today, you can obtain an electronic military service record document through the Reserv+ app. You need to log in to the app and update your information. If your data has been updated previously, you need to reinstall the app from the App Store or Google Play Market.
Authorized bodies can verify the validity of the document and obtain the following information using a QR code:
- Last name, first name, patronymic
- Date of birth
- Taxpayer identification number
- Record number in the Obereg registry
- Information on the results of the military medical examination
- Information on deferment or reservation
- Military rank
- Military occupational specialty
- Unique record number in the Unified State Demographic Register
- Information about military service performance
- Information about military accounting
- Information about recourse to the National Police regarding administrative or criminal offenses
- Date and time of electronic document formation
Users’ Comment:
- Some users are already reporting issues such as discrepancies in data and absence of QR code.
Explanation from the Ministry of Defense:
- Before June 18, the data in the application had an informative nature, allowing users to verify what the state and military commissariat knew about them and correct inaccuracies.
- Starting from June 18, a QR code is generated, which gives the printout from Obereg the same legal force as a military document (registration certificate or military ticket).
