Ukrainians will now overpay less for transfers abroad and, conversely, to Ukraine from abroad. This will be the result of PrivatBank lowering tariffs for such operations. However, this possibility will not apply to all countries.
- Tariff reduction:
- PrivatBank has reduced the tariff for international transfers through Privat24. It is now 1% of the amount (minimum 50 UAH), instead of the previous 2% (minimum 50 UAH).
- Duration:
- The new conditions will be effective from August 15, 2024, to February 15, 2025.
- Transfer amount restrictions:
- The minimum transfer amount is $10 USD (equivalent).
- The maximum amount for a single transfer is 29,999 UAH (equivalent).
- During one calendar month, the total amount of transfers to foreign cards should not exceed 100,000 UAH (equivalent) for one client.
- Country restrictions:
- Transfers are not available to countries under sanctions or restricted by internal legislation: USA, Canada, Japan, India, Syria, Sudan, Iran, Iraq, Cuba, North Korea, Russia, Belarus, Afghanistan, Venezuela, and others.
- Advantages:
- Thanks to the tariff reduction, PrivatBank clients can save on international transfers by sending money at a lower commission.
