She noted that there is no place in her team for “people who want to work independently or be a star.” This suggested that Musk’s charisma and inclination towards individuality do not fit into the team format of the Trump administration.
Trump’s Response
When asked by journalists if Musk will get an office next to the Oval Office, Donald Trump responded with a clear “no.” The President clarified that Musk will work in an office with a team of 20 people responsible for implementing savings plans.
Interestingly, just a day before this, Musk publicly criticized Trump’s ambitious project to invest $500 billion in the development of artificial intelligence. This critique sparked outrage among Trump’s closest allies.
