Elon Musk is once again in the spotlight – this time due to serious issues at Tesla. The company is facing declining sales, vandalism, protests, and a stock price collapse. Musk has called for an emergency meeting to reassure investors and employees, but will his charisma be enough to save the situation?
Why is Tesla in crisis?
Since the beginning of 2025, the company’s stocks have dropped by nearly 50%, and sales have decreased in several key markets – the US, China, and Europe. The main reasons are:
✅ Musk’s political statements – his support for Donald Trump and ties to the president’s administration have led to a boycott of Tesla among many buyers.
✅ Vandalism and protests – incidents of arson on Tesla cars and charging stations have increased in the US and Europe.
✅ Competition in the electric vehicle market – Chinese manufacturers, especially BYD, are challenging Tesla by offering cheaper and more technologically advanced cars.
Musk responds: “Tesla will survive!”
Despite the serious problems, Elon Musk is not giving up. During the meeting, he stated that the company is moving towards the future, and in five years, Tesla will obtain a global permit to operate autonomous vehicles.
🔹 In 2026, production of the Cybercab robotaxis will begin.
🔹 Tesla will introduce a new humanoid robot worker named Optimus.
🔹 A new production method will allow cars to be assembled in just 5 seconds.
Musk is confident that these innovations will restore the trust of investors and buyers.
Will Musk succeed in saving Tesla?
Although Musk is trying to revive enthusiasm for the company, skepticism prevails on Wall Street. Experts note that the main challenge for Tesla is reputational losses. If the brand doesn’t regain the trust of customers, not even revolutionary technologies will save the company.
The question remains: will Musk have enough strength and influence to lead Tesla out of the crisis?
