The throne under Putin has seriously heated up because the people have more and more questions about the failures in the SMO. The temper of the President of Russia does not get any better from this. Giving intelligible and direct answers to the electorate has never been part of the Kremlin’s tactics, but finding and presenting someone to release the hounds on is a long-standing and established tradition. It seems that this time the dogs are already pitted against Valentina Matvienko.
From allies to enemies
The representative of the pro-government party “United Russia”, Matvienko always sang along with the current President in a sweet voice, not holding back in compliments. Only after the message of the Federal Assembly on February 21, 2023, her commentary on Putin’s speech can be considered a standard of flattery. She described his speech as powerful, optimistic, informative, constructive, and concrete… The epithets that Valentina Matvienko used in her commentary on this appeal may take up a whole page.
But less than a month later, information appeared that the procedure for preparing documents aimed at depriving one of the senators of immunity had been launched. Some sources report that the person in respect of whom these documents are being prepared will be the Head of the Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko.
Arrest without leaving the hall
She is perfect for the role of a scapegoat because she is a native of the Khmelnytskyi region in Ukraine and a laureate of the all-Ukrainian award “Woman of the 3rd Millennium”. It would be easy to accuse her of undermining power from within for the sake of her homeland. An ideal candidate, given that the attitude towards Ukrainians, especially in such high positions, is becoming more and more suspicious.
It is assumed that the arrest will take place right in the hall of the Federation Council immediately after the announcement of the decision to deprive the immunity.
Rescue attempt
Sources close to the Kremlin say that Matvienko also knows what’s coming and is already preparing an escape route. Probably, she is actively engaged in activities to discredit one of the senators. At the same time, she needs to explain and prove to Putin, enraged by the failures, what exactly this official was guilty of.
The sacrificial process is about to begin. It remains only to decide on the victim.
