The West has voiced skepticism about the Ukrainian counterattack more than once; however, Andrzej <\/strong>Duda<\/strong> was the first to say it directly and officially, calling things by their names.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to his opinion, formed from the data on the weapons and resources provided to Kyiv, Ukraine is not capable of changing the balance in this war. He emphasized that now the advantage of modern military equipment is definitely on the side of Ukraine, and Russia loses a lot in this regard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But everything is spoiled by the numerical superiority of Moscow in technology. It cannot be overrun with existing units because the difference is too great. With such resources, Ukraine simply cannot do more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sentence or attempt to save<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Such frankness caused a wave of criticism because it can demotivate Ukrainian servicemen and the people. But there were two main messages in Duda’s speech:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Ukraine cannot change the balance of the war with existing weapons;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– this causes an urgent need to provide equipment more actively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that their requests have been fulfilled by 15%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Military experts note that Ukraine has reason to expect an increase in aid. It arose not only because world leaders are starting to talk about it directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other day in Zaporizhzhia, a Russian missile attacked a special object of civil infrastructure, namely the Reikartz Hotel. People died, but this happens in Zaporizhzhia all the time and has not caused a special reaction from the world community for a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But Reikartz has caused a lot of noise among world high-ranking officials, and here’s why<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– the hotel was the place of stay of the Director General of the IAEA Raphael Grossi during the mission to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– employees of the UN and other non-governmental organizations were often based here to help victims of Russian aggression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UN coordinator in Ukraine Denise Brown announced that she had stopped here several times when she was in Zaporizhzhia on missions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The absurdity of the situation is that world politicians were most outraged not by the fact that a city camp for children was operating in this hotel during the day, but by the fact that Russia attacked the place where they are staying<\/strong>. Therefore, it was they – high-ranking politicians – who could become victims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Russian news after the attack, it was reported that they targeted the base of foreign mercenaries. The Kremlin continues to deny that the shelling of civilian infrastructure is being carried out.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
