{"id":2294,"date":"2024-05-14T20:00:07","date_gmt":"2024-05-14T17:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eaukraine.eu\/en\/?p=2294"},"modified":"2024-05-14T20:10:31","modified_gmt":"2024-05-14T17:10:31","slug":"before-ukrainian-embroidered-shirt-day-fashion-breakthrough","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eaukraine.eu\/en\/2024\/05\/14\/before-ukrainian-embroidered-shirt-day-fashion-breakthrough\/","title":{"rendered":"Before Ukrainian Embroidered Shirt Day: ‘Fashion Breakthrough’"},"content":{"rendered":"On May 16, 2024, the final of the annual All-Ukrainian competition of vocational schools of sewing profile “Fashion Breakthrough” organized by the National Sectoral Partnership in the Light Industry of Ukraine “FASHION GLOBUS UKRAINE” and the Association of Sewing Schools of Ukraine will take place in honor of the World Vyshyvanka Day.\n\nThe theme of this year’s competition is “Ukrainian Embroidery – the nation’s worldview encoded on fabric.” Collections of embroidered clothing created by teams from 53 vocational schools of sewing profile from all regions of Ukraine will be presented.\n\nThe main message of the project is expressive and inspiring: “Despite the aggressor country’s efforts to destroy the Ukrainian nation and cultural heritage, the Ukrainian people are unbroken and eternal in descendants, culture, language, and heritage.” The ideas and implementation of these collections took place amid the sound of alarms, the hum of generators, the weaving of camouflage nets, and other forms of volunteer assistance, as a significant contribution of the vocational education system to Ukraine’s Victory. Despite all the circumstances of the war, beauty was born by talented hands in all regions – a symbol of professional and technical education in Ukraine, creating a legacy of the unbeaten, whose skill is impressive. In the modern world, where trends and technological advancements in industries change rapidly, embroidery remains an embodiment of time and dedication. Among the descriptions of collections, the phrase that strikes the most is: \u201cAnd you sow flowers…even if tomorrow is the end of the world…\u201d<\/strong> says the contest organizer Golda Vinohradska. \u201cThis is the sign of the strength of the spirit of our professional-technical education in Ukraine, with which we, as an association of industry employers, have been cooperating for over 7 years.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
