During a meeting in Moscow on March 29 this year, the Foreign Ministers of Russia and the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) reached an agreement to deepen cooperation between Moscow and Tehran in the defense sector. As Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian emphasized, in the near future his country guarantees the supply of \u00abIranian innovations\u00bb to the Russian Federation. According to some reports, we are talking about military equipment. And not only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It should be noted that in itself Abdollahian’s visit to Moscow was of a working nature. In other words, all relevant signed bilateral documents must be verified in the parliaments of both countries. Moreover, a possible agreement on military cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran may cause ferment in the UN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But here’s the thing – the Russian Federation, which is one of the members of the United Nations Security Council, has the right to veto any document prohibiting Iran from implementing military contracts with Moscow. According to some reports, the Russian Federation reserved the right to classify any information about negotiations with Tehran in the field of defense for international structures. At the same time, there is no doubt that the deputies of both the Russian and Iranian higher legislative bodies will say \u00abyes\u00bb to these contracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, what can the Islamic Republic of Iran offer the Russian Federation? \u00abFirst of all, in this particular case, we are talking about the likely supply by Iran to the Russian Federation of a large batch of unmanned aerial vehicles\u00bb,- European observer Alexander Mitz said in a special commentary to EURO-ATLANTIC UKRAINE correspondent. – Among other things, Tehran offers to provide Moscow with its nuclear experience. But the last factor really poses a threat to the Western community. Whether the \u00abthreat card\u00bb will play here is a matter of time\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Be that as it may, today the Iranian transport airline Pouya Air Transport, which specializes in the delivery of so-called \u00absecret cargo\u00bb to a number of regions of the world, has begun operating flights to Russia. What is on board the respective aircraft is unknown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
