The organization Future of Life Institute, which includes well-known innovators <\/strong>Elon<\/strong> Musk and Steve Wozniak, has signed an appeal demanding to stop artificial intelligence (AI) research at least for six months. They justified their request logically, but part of the world community suspects them of pursuing purely financial interests.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the noise about?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nOpenAI company presented the GPT AI program, which caused resonance around the world. Many users have tested it and noted the disadvantages and advantages. The developer company intends to improve the program in the near future and bring it to the ideal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reputable innovators are nervous<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nIn addition, the presentation caused a buzz among leading researchers and academics. More than 1 200 people have signed a petition demanding to stop the work on AI until an appropriate legal base is developed. This requires close cooperation with politicians at the international level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The potential effects of AI are enormous. Its advanced systems will be able to cause dramatic changes in the history of humanity, as well as the one who manages to hack the AI. The signatories call for independent evaluation of such activities before further projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026 <\/em><\/strong>or<\/em><\/strong> about their wallets<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nHowever, many doubt the noble motives of the signatories and believe that the reason is banal – money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The experts noted that the tested AI system would become an alternative to Google<\/strong> because it is able to provide answers, descriptions, and solutions to questions of different complexity. This will cause a change in leaders in the digital world.<\/p>\n\n\n\nDigital monopolists need a pause to avoid losing. However, it is naive to hope for a real suspension of research.
