And to some extent, this is true, as the actions of the Russian army are aimed at causing blackouts in Ukraine. But experts explained that the situation is not only about that.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Director of the Energy Research Center Oleksandr Kharchenko explained the situation in detail. There are currently two powerful negative factors affecting the entire energy system:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>destruction due to constant shelling by Russian rockets;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>negative impact from constant power on and off cycles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The system is designed in a way that it is not programmed to operate in such a regime. This makes it excessively fragile, especially considering that it was built a long time ago and is already morally outdated.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;All these power cycles have an extremely negative impact on the entire energy system and on equipment, affecting equipment at all levels &#8211; from household to transformers and other equipment at large high-voltage substations,&#8221; Kharchenko emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no hope that emergency power outages can be avoided in the near future. Even if certain crisis solutions are implemented, such as integrating solar panels or wind generation units into the system, emergencies will still occur, leaving certain communities without power.
