The candidacy of U.S. President Joe Biden for a second term was discussed at the NATO summit in Washington. The Czech Foreign Minister believes Biden’s exit from the race is a logical step due to the situation in the Democratic Party. Europe must prepare for both scenarios in the upcoming U.S. presidential elections, warns the Czech minister. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The candidacy of U.S. President Joe Biden for a second term became the most discussed topic during the NATO summit in Washington. During the meeting in Washington, the pressure on Biden was immense, admitted Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsk\u00fd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What the Czech Republic Says About Biden “I must say that this seems to me a logical way out of the political situation in which the Democratic Party has found itself,” commented Lipavsk\u00fd on Biden’s exit from the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Czech Foreign Minister also noted that Europe must prepare for both scenarios in the upcoming U.S. presidential elections and urges to accept this reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joe Biden Exits Presidential Race: What Comes Next <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is the first such case in half a century. It reminded historians and political scientists of former President Lyndon Johnson’s refusal to participate in the elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interestingly, Biden was seen as a potential president 50 years ago when he was a young senator. But no one thought it would happen much later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, the Democratic Party must be saved by Kamala Harris. She will become another woman to compete with Donald Trump. Previously, Hillary Clinton tried to do so. In 2016, Biden was supposed to be in Hillary’s place, but Barack Obama convinced him not to run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
