According to Johnson, this plan could end the war on favorable terms for Ukraine and the West. He believes that Donald Trump, if elected US president, could implement this plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key points of the plan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Use of weapons:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>The West allows Ukraine to use ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles, as well as other weapons against airfields in Russian territory.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the aggressor&#8217;s troops are pushed back, Putin may offer a deal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Russian retreat:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Russia retreats to its borders as of February 23, 2022.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The territory of Ukraine under Kyiv&#8217;s control is recognized as a free country with the prospect of rapid entry into the EU and NATO.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deployment of troops:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>After the war ends, some Ukrainian troops will be stationed in European countries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This will allow for the replacement of 70,000 US troops deployed to deter potential Russian aggression.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Economic benefits for the USA:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>This will allow Trump to save money, bring American troops home, and push Europeans to do more for their own defense, which is one of his key goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Russian propaganda:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Russia announces that the &#8220;Special Military Operation&#8221; has completed its task and &#8220;denazified&#8221; the country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Special protection measures are introduced for the Russian-speaking population of Ukraine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Possible obstacles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On July 2, Viktor Orban visited Kyiv, where he met with President Volodymyr Zelensky. During the meeting, the Prime Minister of Hungary called on Zelensky to cease fire and agree to &#8220;peaceful negotiations.&#8221; At the same time, Zelensky stated that a very clear plan is needed to stop the fire. In an interview with Bloomberg, he said that discussions can only take place on a clear international platform in the presence of countries whose leaders are trusted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zelensky on ceasefire<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Regarding the ceasefire, I clearly explained: we had hundreds of meetings since the Minsk agreements, many years ago the parties agreed to a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, and Russia constantly violated it and killed our people,&#8221;
