Ukraine has been living without power outages for several days already. Despite this, energy officials are not rushing to make predictions about a possible return to scheduled outages, although they do admit that such periods will definitely occur.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Impact of abnormal heat<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Koliisnyk mentioned in a telethon broadcast that one of the factors increasing electricity consumption is the abnormal heat. High temperatures experienced in Ukraine throughout July are affecting the stability of the power system. The heat forces people to use air conditioners and other electrical devices more frequently, increasing the load on the power grids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calls for conservation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For energy officials, rational electricity consumption by the population remains an important factor. Mykola Koliisnyk urged Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly, especially during peak hours:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • from 07:00 to 11:00;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • from 17:00 to 22:00. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    This will help balance the power system and avoid overloads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    “This allows us to balance the power system. Therefore, we urge you to consume responsibly, and energy officials are doing everything possible 24\/7 to ensure that the system operates in a stable mode,” Koliisnyk stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Preparation for the autumn-winter period<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    It is worth noting that “Ukrenergo” is actively working to ensure an adequate supply of electricity to Ukraine in autumn and winter. In particular, the National Energy Company is increasing technical capabilities for supplying electricity from Europe, including from Poland. This step will help Ukraine be more independent from internal factors such as weather conditions or technical failures and ensure a stable supply of electricity even during challenging periods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ukraine is actively working on modernizing and strengthening its energy system.
