This is not the first time Israeli officials have been sought for accountability for actions related to the conflict in Palestinian territories.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, an arrest warrant has been issued for the leader of the Hamas group, Muhammad Deif, who, according to unconfirmed reports, has already died.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sharp Statements from Israel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Official Tel Aviv strongly condemned the ICC&#8217;s actions, calling the court &#8220;a party to the war.&#8221; The previous arrest warrant for Netanyahu, issued in May of this year, was revoked in less than a month. The process was halted by London, claiming that the ICC does not have jurisdiction over Israeli citizens due to the conditions stipulated in the Oslo agreements.
