Army+: why this application is needed

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has taken another step towards simplifying the lives of servicemen by launching a new application called Army+. This digital service is now available and offers military personnel modern capabilities to fulfill everyday tasks.

Digitalization of services for military personnel

Currently, Army+ offers 11 types of reports that can now be submitted in digital format. This significantly streamlines the document submission process, making it faster and more convenient. One of the key features of the application is the Army ID – a unique identification number for the serviceman. Thanks to this number, military personnel can easily submit reports for signature without the need for personal presence or paper documents.

Voice of the military in decision-making

Another important feature of Army+ is the ability to conduct surveys among military personnel. This will allow the Ministry of Defense to take into account the opinions of those on the front lines when making important decisions. This approach emphasizes that every military member has the right to express their opinion, and that opinion will be heard.

Comments from the President of Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of this application, stating that Army+ will strengthen not only the entire army but will also help every commander and soldier. He stressed that the main goal of this project is to free the army from “tedious paper work” so that military personnel can focus on their primary responsibilities without wasting time on bureaucratic procedures.

Digitalization as part of successful reforms

This project is part of a broader digitalization strategy in Ukraine, which has already shown results in other fields. Applications such as Diya, Mriya, Rezerv+ and now Armiya+ have made government services more accessible to citizens. The implementation of Armiya+ is another step towards modernizing public administration and increasing the efficiency of military structures.

Thus, Armiya+ becomes not just another digital tool, but an important element in supporting Ukrainian military in the face of modern challenges.
